Those were the days, lying next to the stove, where it is nice and warm. Just contemplating life in general. Life is good! Next week will be just like always for me, I get fed, kept warm, and happy-what more can I ask for?
I remember the day I came home from the hospital, Nicky was so happy to see me, as were my other friends. Guenter let me snuggle with him in my new bed. But the best place was right next to mom, right on the couch! There really is no place like home. Even with my belly in stitches I managed to get up on the couch, and immediately made myself at home, and went to sleep.
Richie just had to check me out, but I didn't care, I was too pooped out from all the excitement.
